Kylie's Professional Social Media Blog

As a young professional, I have professional resumes, cover letters, bios, references and skill sets  listed on many different sites.  My goal is to actually sell myself to employers making them believe that I would be the perfect candidate for their company.  Including a professional profile picture, going into great detail describing my previous work history and schooling history, including personal references, skill sets, recommendations, and any groups or volunteer work I was apart of is something I make sure to cover.  It's also very important to come across to my employers as being determined, confident, educated, and driven.  I want them to be able to see my driven attitude from just reading a short paragraph.  Since I am young and new to recruiting and the full time work world, I also create my professional profiles by looking at others who are too in the same field with a bit more experience.  I have profiles listed on Indeed, Monster, Career Builder, and LinkedIn.  I have many different organizations and or groups that I have  strong interest in joining.  Most of them are head hunting/staffing groups and a few are HR groups posting advice, tips and quotes daily.

The internet is for watching the things that make you laugh...

Many people search vlogs for different reasons.  Why do I search video blogs? It's simple... TO LAUGH!  Life is too short to not to laugh and smile.  The vlog that I have chosen is one that is close to my heart for a few different reasons. 1. My family used to raise Pug's which are the cutest and most loving dogs one could ever imagine 2. I currently have a Pug that is an amazing dog 3. It makes me laugh and smile which is more important than anything I hope all of you that watch get a kick out of the video, smile on your face, and even invest into getting a PUG!  Enjoy!

These are the five blogs that I have chosen to prove useful in creating my personal brand strategy.  In my own personal opinion, every single person in the class has a blog that I can relate to and find useful in forming my own brand in one way or another.  Some are sports lovers which holds a big place in my heart and lifestyle as well, others are first time bloggers which I can closely relate too and one individual has her own jewelry business which I think is amazing and very inspiring as I too am trying to become successful and start my career in whatever it may be.  One individual seems to have a big heart who loves to make people laugh which is where my personal brand comes in.  I have been through a lot of difficult tragedies here and there throughout my life time just like many others.  Making each day count and putting a smile on one anothers face is what makes this life worth while.  It was a stranger who knew nothing about me that reached out and made me laugh even when I didn't want to that helped me get through a very rough bump in the road.  Everyone goes through something at some point or another, lend a hand, make them smile, tell a joke and reach out; you never know how you could be changing someones life and yours as well.
